Italy’s Sante Sansone makes his debut on Roush this March with a commanding four-tracker entitled
‘Warehouse’, whilst Amnesia resident CAAL steps up on remix duties.
With previous releases on the likes of Glasgow Underground, Lapsus Music and Sanity, Italian Sante Sansone
has amassed an impressive back catalogue since making his production debut back in 2013. Still only 23, the
rising talent has been tipped by many to become a name to take note of, and here we see him touch down on
Hector Couto’s Roush for the very first time. Joining him is Amnesia resident CAAL, whose White Isle sets for
the venues biggest nights have established himself as one of the islands most important residents.
Opening the EP, title cut ‘Warehouse utilises infectious lead vocals, rich stabs and energetic snare rolls to
build a rolling groove, before ‘Workin’ throws down a medley of rumbling sub bass, crisp drum licks and robust
kicks.
Next up, ‘Fat N’ Deep’ maintains the high energy levels as Sansone pieces together a series of suspenseful
builds, before CAAL’s interpretation of ‘Warehouse’ channels the surroundings of Amnesia’s famous terrace,
revealing a cavernous peak time cut driven by tripped out vocal shots, warping synth lines and a thundering
bassline.

Carl Cox is an industry figurehead whos legacy in music includes his iconic label Intec, which he runs with friend and business partner Jon Rundell.

A German living in Portugal, the new Intec release is from Sidney Charles who has only been releasing music since 2011, but in that time built up a back catalogue including music signed to Truesoul, Moon Harbour, Hot Creations, Relief, 8Bit and Defected.

Sidney Charles eclectic sound is often focused towards house music, but as a skilled producer, he also incorporated elements of techno when he wants to toughen things up a bit, and his new release on Intec is a fine example of this.

Having originally started his career as a DJ, Sidney Charles is also a highly sought after club spinner, with a gig list that in the coming months will see him play everywhere from the Netherlands to Malta.

This is Sidney's second solo release on Intec having last appeared on the label in 2016, and fans will be pleased to know his follow up has been well worth the wait.

The EP opens with the original mix of Get Together that at first sounds like a house groove with a rolling bassline and tight percussion, but its heavy kick drum and looping rhythms along with the deep synth stabs, move it over to the deep techno category. The perfect crossover tool, its moody sound and low end energy will no doubt make it a popular DJs choice for switching up the style of a set.

Second on the release is Dub Trap, which takes us down a deeper path with jazzy chords that add to the jacking groove. Where the first track incorporates elements of techno, this track is very much the sound Sidney Charles is known for. Chic and full of character, this tech house cut is something that some might not expect from Intec, but reminds us of Carl Cox's eclectic taste when it comes to playing and signing music.

Italian artist Anfisa Letyago debuts on Rekids delivering two captivating cuts, including two brilliant remixes from Mark Broom.

For over a decade, this Neapolitan DJ and producer has been renowned for her hard-hitting techno tracks on labels like Redrum and Intec. She now debuts on Radio Slave’s Rekids, following the likes of Laurent Garnier, Spencer Parker, Hybrasil, P.Leone, and SRVD.

‘I’d Rather B’ starts with shaking percussions into soul styled vocals, fading out to deeper and darker tones, before ‘Pump It’ progresses into a smooth acidic background completed with a subtle groove undertone. Warp Records and Cocoon artist Mark Broom returns to Rekids with two remixes of ‘I’d Rather B’.
The first leads with a stomping bass and rupturing sirens, generating an atmospheric aesthetic from start to finish, whilst the second focuses more on the groove – introducing piercing claps, rattling hats and small bursts of vocals cries as the track continues to build.

A man who needs little introduction, Southampton born techno legend Alan Fitzpatrick has spent the last decade carving out his musical niche and holding rank in the upper echelons of the underground electronic world. Few artists can claim to have headlined Berghain and also had a hit on daytime BBC Radio 1, but then there aren’t many artists like Alan Fitzpatrick. 

One of the most popular techno DJs in the world, he has rubbed shoulders with the likes of Carl Cox and Adam Beyer for the best part of a decade, performing at the world’s biggest clubs and festivals. Known primarily for his raw hard-edged sound, Alan has developed into one of dance music’s most versatile producers, equally at home putting out techno bangers on Drumcode as he is making disco-infused house anthems, or experimental electronica under his 3STRANGE alias, not to mention his impressive range of collaborations (including CamelPhat, Skream, Sasha, Rebūke and Jamie Jones). 

The We Are The Brave and Apex Faction label don adopts a no nonsense approach to A&R and in 5 short years Alan has welcomed some of Techno’s finest producers to his fold. The Englishman champions the musical output of both established artists and breakthrough alike, accumulating over 50 million Spotify Streams on We Are The Brave records since its inception in 2016.
