German DJ and producer, Butch, makes his long overdue return to Nic Fanciulli's Saved Records imprint this summer with his brand new single, 'Same Like Dope But Different'. Having spent the last two decades honing and refining his sound, Butch has released on a remarkable list of well-established labels in the scene including Play It Say It, Cocoon, Diynamic, Moon Harbour, CircoLoco, DCLTD, Cecille and more. Few artists flow through genres and emotional landscapes with such ease and fluidity as Butch, challenging preconceptions of the dancefloor and the expected outcome in the process. As an artist, he's always allowed himself to express his take on each genre – it's true that with Butch, you never know what to expect, other than consistently fresh and unique output. 'Same Like Dope But Different' is a deep and tender eight-minute House opus, with hip-swaying drums, a warm, bubbling underlying groove, euphoric synth and chord work, uplifting percussion and an infectious, slow-blooming bassline; resulting in a rich, emotional track that brings something different to the dance floor. Influential DJ, producer and label owner Adam Beyer takes to his own Drumcode imprint to deliver his latest peak-time floor-filler in the collaboration with Bart Skils titled 'Your Mind'.

If you’ve caught a set from Adam Beyer recently, chances are you remember this track causing mayhem. ‘Your Mind’ is a banging new collaboration with Dutch talent Bart Skils, and it absolutely caught the attention of his Timewarp, Awakenings and Ultra set audiences with its haunting chorus chant. 

'Your Mind' is released via Drumcode on June 18.

It doesn’t get much bigger than this: Adam Beyer links up with Green Velvet and Drumcode’s outstanding rising star Layton Giordani for a debut collaboration.

Some musical partnerships feel fated. Both fans of one another’s work, for years Adam Beyer and Green Velvet had discussed writing music together. In turn, Beyer’s protégé Layton Giordani had admired the Chicagoan’s work for as long as he could remember. When the 25-year-old found himself playing alongside the green mohawked legend at Belfast’s Shine, the spark and subsequent friendship was immediate. With the links now set in place, it was only a matter of time before the trio’s creative chemistry would manifest musically.

‘Space Date’ was conceived organically and birthed quickly. Propelled by Green Velvet’s trademark vocal hypnotism, the triumvirate combine to craft a pumping intergalactic slice of techno laced in melody that’s highlighted sets by Beyer at Awakenings, Ushuaia and also EDC Vegas when Green Velvet dropped it to a raucous response. The track is complimented by ‘Rome Future’, the product of a year-long series of productions between Beyer and Giordani. Deftly combining crisp drum work, catchy vocal effects and a powerful bassline melody that gives the track an almighty kick, it will be familiar to many who’ve followed their sets over recent months.

A man who needs little introduction, Southampton born techno legend Alan Fitzpatrick has spent the last decade carving out his musical niche and holding rank in the upper echelons of the underground electronic world. Few artists can claim to have headlined Berghain and also had a hit on daytime BBC Radio 1, but then there aren’t many artists like Alan Fitzpatrick. 

One of the most popular techno DJs in the world, he has rubbed shoulders with the likes of Carl Cox and Adam Beyer for the best part of a decade, performing at the world’s biggest clubs and festivals. Known primarily for his raw hard-edged sound, Alan has developed into one of dance music’s most versatile producers, equally at home putting out techno bangers on Drumcode as he is making disco-infused house anthems, or experimental electronica under his 3STRANGE alias, not to mention his impressive range of collaborations (including CamelPhat, Skream, Sasha, Rebūke and Jamie Jones). 

The We Are The Brave and Apex Faction label don adopts a no nonsense approach to A&R and in 5 short years Alan has welcomed some of Techno’s finest producers to his fold. The Englishman champions the musical output of both established artists and breakthrough alike, accumulating over 50 million Spotify Streams on We Are The Brave records since its inception in 2016. Fast-forward to 2021 and the southern powerhouse shows no sign of slowing down, his passion for music permeating all aspects of his career.
