On the 6th of November I had the pleasure, after more than two years, to play the terrace of the fabulous Space club in Miami again. I feel playing at Space, especially into the early morning hours requires a little different type of setlist, and even more so when the sun starts to come up. So I specially prepared a “terrace” set and included some of my old time faves in combination with new great things. Hiroko Yamamura opened with a beautifully flowing selection and set the mood for the whole night and morning. I started at 4am and ended up playing for 5h which was so much fun, especially dropping some of my all time classics again, something I didn’t do for a while. Well you can listen to the whole thing now and make your own verdict. Today´s show contains the fourth hour of the set. Hope you enjoy. Oh and by the way, some news for you and as you have been reading so far, you deserve to know:) Since I restarted my CLR label this year,  I decided that I will bring back the CLR Podcast once a month with a special DJ set by the artists who release on the label. It will be under the roof of AMFM, so you don’t need to do anything, but stay tuned and you will automatically hear the “AMFM CLR Special Podcast Edition” right here at the same spot. A man who needs little introduction, Southampton born techno legend Alan Fitzpatrick has spent the last decade carving out his musical niche and holding rank in the upper echelons of the underground electronic world. Few artists can claim to have headlined Berghain and also had a hit on daytime BBC Radio 1, but then there aren’t many artists like Alan Fitzpatrick. 

One of the most popular techno DJs in the world, he has rubbed shoulders with the likes of Carl Cox and Adam Beyer for the best part of a decade, performing at the world’s biggest clubs and festivals. Known primarily for his raw hard-edged sound, Alan has developed into one of dance music’s most versatile producers, equally at home putting out techno bangers on Drumcode as he is making disco-infused house anthems, or experimental electronica under his 3STRANGE alias, not to mention his impressive range of collaborations (including CamelPhat, Skream, Sasha, Rebūke and Jamie Jones). 

The We Are The Brave and Apex Faction label don adopts a no nonsense approach to A&R and in 5 short years Alan has welcomed some of Techno’s finest producers to his fold. The Englishman champions the musical output of both established artists and breakthrough alike, accumulating over 50 million Spotify Streams on We Are The Brave records since its inception in 2016. Fast-forward to 2021 and the southern powerhouse shows no sign of slowing down, his passion for music permeating all aspects of his career.
