I played my first big gig in Florence in 2002, at the Fotazza de Bass. It was the beginning of a long lasting love affair between myself and Italy. I love Italy, I love the people, the parties, the clubs, the festivals, the vibe, the food and a million other things. I am so grateful that over such a long period of time, Italy has allowed me to come and play music. Especially Florence, where it all started for me, and the Viper Club has been a big part of that. A location, that was normally used to play alternative and rock shows mostly, has always been perfect for “our” kind of music too. I have such amazing memories in this place and I hope to be back there one day. This set was recorded there on November 12th 2011, which seems like a lifetime away… well maybe it is. Today´s AMFM episode contains the second hour of the set, hope you enjoy the show as much as I enjoyed playing it…

After two years, I went on my first "overseas" trip to the USA, and for me, who also loves very much to tour in the Americas (north and south that is), two years of not going was quite a long time. You can imagine how excited I was to touch ground and meet loads of friends in person again, as well as roaming the streets of the cities I was in, a thing that I love to do wherever I go actually… well sometimes more sometimes less, depending on the city. Yet before I was allowed to enter the US, the immigration officer who greeted me decided to put me in a room for 3hours and didn't tell me why. I did have all the necessary paperwork and visas as I always do, but for some reason, I was not allowed to move and had to sit and wait for.. well, I still really don't know why, as after I was released, still no one told me what it was all about. It seems like travelling isn't getting any easier in this world these days. My first stop to play took me to Washington DC, to my beloved Flash Club. A beautiful club with an awesome crowd and a similarly excellent sound system. My first gig could not have been any better. And this is the 3h set that you are able to check now on my current AMFM show. I've finally been able to road test not only my new club mix of Circles feat Tom Adams, a track from my forthcoming album "Another Day" on @muterecords in November (by the way, super excited about this one.. please remember to check that out.. once it is released.. stay tuned), as well as loads new future and present CLR releases, by Frankie Bromley, Hertz Collision, Gene Richards Jr, DEAS, Drumcell and Thomas Hoffknecht.. as well as an awesome new remix by Planetary Assault Systems… and more.
After DC I went to Brooklyn for Afterlife at the Brooklyn Mirage and then on to Houston (my first time there) to play at the Bauhaus Club, which is also an amazing club with super sweet sound and a really fantastic crowd once more. As you can see the first US weekender after 2 years went super well and I wanna thank everyone who helped make that possible and showed up enthusiastically on the dance floors. Today's show contains the third and last hour of the set. By the way, I will be back in the US and Canada in October and November, once more at the Brooklyn Mirage with my sis Nicole Moudaber, as well as other amazing places. A man who needs little introduction, Southampton born techno legend Alan Fitzpatrick has spent the last decade carving out his musical niche and holding rank in the upper echelons of the underground electronic world. Few artists can claim to have headlined Berghain and also had a hit on daytime BBC Radio 1, but then there aren’t many artists like Alan Fitzpatrick. 

One of the most popular techno DJs in the world, he has rubbed shoulders with the likes of Carl Cox and Adam Beyer for the best part of a decade, performing at the world’s biggest clubs and festivals. Known primarily for his raw hard-edged sound, Alan has developed into one of dance music’s most versatile producers, equally at home putting out techno bangers on Drumcode as he is making disco-infused house anthems, or experimental electronica under his 3STRANGE alias, not to mention his impressive range of collaborations (including CamelPhat, Skream, Sasha, Rebūke and Jamie Jones).
