 for heavenly joy.
Gazing into his wanton 
eyes that pull,

in splendor,
against the rapture
 of his kiss.
silk against

two unique textures
that arouse

Eternity passes
in that small space,
time races in 
nervous ticks,
between possibility 
and realization,
as flesh moves 
to collide.
and when lips meet'
the smooth, 
blended heat
of tongues colliding
set fires to passions 
yet spent
 
Eyelids flutter,
closing in anticipation,
while her hopes
 like the fluff,
of dandelion ball trembling
quivers and then
 breaks free
in anticipation 
of flight into the
sensuous realms
found only in 
embraces

What magic is this,
what Gods decided that lips,
would form the quips,
of soft, warm, 
liquid expression,
blended into 
two silent voices,
communicating 
in two different tongues
speaking volumes 
of poetry
that are carried 
in our memories
for all of time.

Since 1995 Alanis Morissette has been one of the most influential singer-songwriter-musicians in contemporary music.
