The Mao are one of the major tribes constituting the Nagas, a group of tribes spread over the easternmost part of India and the western border region of Myanmar. The Maos inhabit the northern part of Manipur State of India. The Maos are also known as Memei or Ememei, in their own language. The term 'Mao' also refers to the area where most of the old and original villages are situated, as distinguished from the newer settlements in an expanded area of their habitation.

This Track is dedicated to all the tribes and people from that region wherein this is a typical howl of singing with modulation by the women while doing their work in the field. i tried to define the soundscapes and their different ways of lifestyle through this track. hope you guys will like it.

This track is a tribute to the great sayings of the upanishad where the emphasis is on the "Mandukya Upanishad", the smallest yet but the toughes. The 7th mantra out of 11 in the main text of Mandukya Upanishad is regarded as the main element to descibe Who we are or "Who Am I".
The voice is of Swami Sarvapriyananda who is a knowledgeable and spiritually enlightened monk from the Ramakrishna Mission order. This dialogues were recorded when he was giving lectures to the students of IIT-Kanpur.
In this track I've tried to depict the different soundscapes of us being in the waking world, Dreaming world, Sleep blankness and the last in the mantra, the turiyam or the Chaturtha who we are actually.

Alankaar - Who Am I (Full)

(Alankaar) is a figure of speech which means ornaments or adornments. Just like women use ornaments to enhance her beauty, Alankar in Hindi language are used essentially to enhance the beauty of a poem. Presently, this project is handled by Abhishek Chakraborty who is also handling his other Psytrance project as "Cosmic Brahma". This project (Alankaar) will talk about deep sounds which can travel in your ears like a jewel, which will be especially Progressive trance music. Though, Abhishek has been producing and djying for the last 12 years with his name as Cosmic Brahma but, he has choosen this project name "Alankaar", after much consideration and keeping in mind the Indian taste of progressive music for the global circuit.
