As in every year, the unique sound of Deeperfect loudly echoes in the streets of Amsterdam during its huge, festive "Amsterdam Dance Event", in this context, who is better than the chief himself, Stefano Noferini, in representing the label's sound?
"Stefano Noferini presents Club Edition ADE 2016" is a monumental release consisted of 27 unreleased, brand new tracks, and one long continuos mix binding them together. Noferini, selecting the tracks himself, is also the one patching them all together in a masterful demonstration of what magic can be extracted out of this joyful spring of sounds.
Most of the 27 tracks loyally reflect the label's current sound signature: a careful minimal House flavoured with tribal elements. A wide selection and application of percussion tools, with a dominant presence of various claps and cowbells, and the famous Deeperfect punchy kick designs.
However, some of the other jewels in this box perhaps reveal something about the future sound of the label: an energetic, groove-loaded, peak-time materials that function as ultimate dance floor destroyers.
All together, this release is a must-have. It encapsulates a year's work of one of the world's most important labels, and is a delightful musical journey for any fan of electronic music.

In the third edition of the Double Decker series, we welcome Alan Nieves and Francesco Poggi to the label. Featuring two tracks from each, this release packs a variety of sounds to fit a wide range of applications.

Alan Nieves gets us started with ‘Black Label’, a medium paced groover that’s packed with percussion, vocal samples, and a smooth bass pattern that doubles up as the melody. His second offering of ‘Rock Steady’ develops further on these melodic foundations, with a more uptempo groove adding an extra slice of excitement to this summery track. Laced with intricate breakdowns that are filled with tense synths and proceeded by big drops, Alan Nieves offers two tracks that are geared perfectly to bridge the gap between warm up and peak time sets.

New York's Alan Nieves drops his three track EP entitled 'About Music' on Roush this November. Having gained support from some of the biggest names in the game, including The Martinez Brothers, Marco Carola and Erick Morillo, American artist Alan Nieves' career is most certainly on the rise. A resident in his home city at Brooklyn's Output, and with releases on the likes of Elrow Music, Deeperfect, Wow! Recordings and Sanity, plus a Beatport #1 Tech House release to his name, here we see him deliver three fresh cuts on Roush to launch into November. Title cut 'About Music' sets the tone as Nieves utilizes rolling drums and skipping hats to open the EP in style, whilst 'Sell The Funk' fuses slick, skipping percussion, groove-heavy bass licks and infectious vocal hooks. Last up, 'Boroughs' reveals tough kicks, sharp snares amongst spoken Brooklyn and Manhattan references and evolving synth lines to round out proceedings.

Alan Nieves is back on Roush this mid September with 'Whatcha Want', his new three-track EP. A warm summer comeback that confirms the trust on Alan Nieves' music from the Roush team. Hailing from New York, Alan Nieves has been working to establish himself as one to watch tech house producers all over this past years. Combining great deep grooves with danceable rhythms Alan Nieves is releasing brilliant works in labels like Sanity, Wow! and elrow Music just to name a few. This works and his great DJ skills allowed Alan to play in infamous NYC venues such as Output or Cielo, two of the top notch discos of the Big Apple. Regarding to the EP, opener 'Whatcha Want' shows Alan's great production skills with an arpeggiated and well built breakdown. Precisely, this composition has the kind of breakdowns that you will require when you want to take your DJ set into the next level. Following up, 'Keep The Beat Going', combines energetic percussion with a nice punchy low-end. Last but not least, 'What Are You Saying' must be the most housey tracks of the package. This is due to its classic detuned chord progression and the vocal loop. It closes this work in a classy way making a great balance between tech' and house.
