Ranj Kaler is a name becoming more regular on the global scene. After losing his DJ residency at the start of the pandemic, he used the lockdown to focus on music production. Within six months, he was releasing tracks on labels like ARRVL and Four Candles’ Keep Thinking, alongside attention grabbing reworks of Sade and Kate Bush. Since then, he's released music on labels including Capital Heaven and Foxtrot Alpha.

Never one to stick to a single genre, Ranj’s productions blend house, breaks, techno, and electro, creating a distinct sound that has earned him support from a long list of DJs from John Digweed, to Hernán Cattaneo. His talent has also made him a sought-after remixer, with labels like Hooj Choons, Pangea, and Laika Sounds commissioning his work.  

On this 90 minute mix Ranj delivers a smooth mix of deep breaks, house, prog and more that feels vital. Featuring productions from Framewerk, Danny Howells, Sébastien Léger and more, this is an effortless mix showcasing Kaler’s dynamic track selection.

François K - Ambient Moods 2020

In a music career that has spanned 20 years, Alans tracks and remixes are featured on labels such as ‘The Ministry of Sound’, ‘Fantazia’ & ‘Global Underground’ 

Alan Started Djing and Producing at the age of 14, by the time he was 16 he already had a studio built and was producing early house music on an Atari. After signing his early productions to various labels including the Ministry Of Sound and Fantasia with artist names such as, "Chiller Productions", "Sophie's Boys", "Housa Musika" and "Dance Easy", he decided to launch his own, called "12 Inch Thumpers". The first release was a track called "Don't Cross the Line" which was possibly one of the most recognisable underground harder edge tracks of 1999, still massively played today; the track has been licensed, along with other tracks to compilations like Euphoria and to The Ministry of Sound. Alan has played his own tracks all over the world including Canada, South Africa, Ibiza, Luxembourg, Ireland, Holland and Australia (Gatecrasher). 
He currently holds residencies for the Bora Bora European tours and Closure at the Ministry of Sound and Egg, London.

Alan is currently releasing tracks on Southern Lights Recordings (UK), Element Recordings (UK) EJ Underground (UK) and has also remixed tracks for Cutting Records (New York), Substream (Sweden), Global Underground (UK), KG Beats (Chicago) and Soundmass (Turkey). Releasing tracks also under his other names, 'Chiller' (with Jamie McHugh) on Underwater Records (UK) & ‘Perk’ for SLR. Alan has just released his first solo album entitled ‘Monkey Grip’ and presents the Bora Bora radio show worldwide every month.

His sound is unique and right now is a tech/deep house fusion between uplifting jackin, percussion, melodic chords and deep dark bass line grooves.
