Gabto, from Porto Alegre, is a DJ and producer based in São Paulo. Guided by musical depth and openness to experimentation, Gabriel has established himself as an eminent musical researcher, with a skill that is also precise in the studio. It is no coincidence that Gabto currently has releases on important national and international labels.

If his productions are very connected to his own experiences on the dance floor and a true cult of the sounds of the eighties and nineties, his DJ sets don't stray from this dynamic either. Creating a contrast between euphoric and introspective moments, Gabto's musical research generates a positive, welcoming and danceable dance floor.

One of Gabto's great attributes is precisely his dexterity in dealing with a wide range of musical references, oscillating between countless styles in a harmonious and coherent way — which he delivers to us in his new mix for volume 599 of Alaplay. Marked drums, disco, lots of leftfield house and a touch of Balearic and acid show that combining a multitude of sounds is always a fruitful path for those who know how to play.

For our 600th mix, a dream come true: Sven Väth. Which takes us back to Frankfurt, 1981. This is the year it all began for Sven Väth, a living legend who transcends time and trends. Currently amassing 43 years of career (at the age of 59), he embodies the pure and timeless essence of the art of DJing, defending and keeping vinyl culture alive and always reinforcing the importance of researching music beyond the obvious, because only then is it possible to tell different and exciting stories with each new performance that can last for 2 or even 12 hours.

AFFKT is the project of Spanish producer Marc Martinez Nadal, launched in 2008. He is also the founder of the Sincopat label and has a career marked by consistent evolution in electronic music, with releases on renowned labels such as Stil Vor Talent, Pets Recordings, and Renaissance. His new EP, Bodypa, will be released by Polaris on August 9th, featuring two tracks that start from Indie Dance and incorporate elements of Progressive House and Techno. In partnership with the artist and the label, we present the premiere of the title track, noted for its aggressive dancefloor construction and raw elements, including a striking vocal cut.

Lost My Keys is a live project formed in 2020 by Fabio Laham and Pedro J, whose identity has been solidifying around the acid, hypnotic, percussive, and industrial shades of Techno. Together, they lead the label Missing Objects and drive São Paulo’s independent underground scene through their party, Mind The Gap.

Tui is a DJ and producer from Curitiba who has gone through different phases in his career, but one common thread in all of them is his genuine desire for innovation. This can be felt in "Kiss Me," one of the tracks featured on his upcoming album, Terse, set for release on November 22. Here, he shows that there is indeed room for electronic music to flirt with pop through a tasteful approach.

Tiger Stripes has built a solid career since the early 2000s, releasing music on some of the world’s leading labels, including Drumcode, Get Physical, Strictly Rhythm, Truesoul, Desolat, and Hot Creations. Sol Ortega is one of the most influential figures in the South American underground scene, and with her latest track, Mind Is Clear, she solidifies her position as one of the global Techno scene's rising stars. Released on Mind Medizin, a label known for its commitment to supporting female talent, this track is part of the second volume of the Hermanas series, which celebrates South American producers making waves worldwide.

Blending the raw energy of classic Detroit Techno with her own modern twist, Ortega delivers a track with powerful beats, distorted synths, and hypnotic vocal elements. With more than two decades of career, Vivi Seixas stands as one of the key figures in Brazilian House Music. Her sound blends elements of Funky House, Chicago House, Electro and Breakbeat — always driven by groove, swing and bold basslines. Throughout her trajectory, she has played iconic clubs such as The End Up and D-EDGE, major festivals like Rock in Rio and Universo Paralello, and leads her own label party, Tulipa. In Alaplay 643, Vivi delivers a confident and personality-filled set that unfolds through dancing layers, hypnotic lines and deeper atmospheres. The Soul Brothers are the Mexican duo Daniel Muñoz and Tomás Encorrada, known for blending tribal rhythms, mystical melodies and organic textures into deeply narrative sets. Founders of Talavera Records and frequent guests on stages across Berlin, Ibiza and Miami, they have become a consistent presence in the contemporary organic and melodic scene. For this Alaplay edition, they present a mix aligned with the atmosphere of their recent Gypsy Soul EP on Human By Default: a serene and detailed journey shaped by acoustic layers, tribal percussion and moments of rising energy before landing gently in its final minutes.

De noites históricas no Lov.E às cabines do D-Edge, Dekmantel São Paulo, Boiler Room e turnês internacionais, Ney sempre se destacou pela habilidade de conectar memória, afeto e inovação, algo que também se reflete em seus trabalhos autorais, como os edits em vinil 7” lançados pela Beijinho do Brasil, o remix oficial para Rita Lee e a parceria com Ivan Conti no EP Psycho Trooper. 
Neste set preparado para o Vitrola 71, ele revisita versões próprias de Tim Maia e Antônio Carlos & Jocafi, apresenta faixas recentes de nomes como Diogo Strausz e Fabio Santanna e organiza tudo em uma narrativa que sintetiza diferentes fases de sua pesquisa — entre o clássico, o contemporâneo e o que só Ney sabe costurar.

Nicolas Masseyeff is one of the most respected figures in French electronic music, with a career spanning over three decades between the dancefloor and the studio. Hailing from the French Riviera, he has built a sound defined by melodic depth, groove and emotional sensitivity, with releases on labels such as Herzblut, Crosstown Rebels, Suara and his own Diversions Music, as well as collaborations with artists including OXIA, Kittin and Parallelle. On Alaplay 644, Masseyeff delivers a refined and fluid set that moves from organic and deep atmospheres into more dancefloor-driven territory, before closing on a hypnotic and introspective note — featuring his recent track “Taian”, released at the end of 2025. A mix that clearly reflects his artistic maturity and sonic vision.
