I’m really, really excited by this new official Richard Waters’ waterphone made by Brooks Hubbert.  Brooks is an amazing musician and instrument builder who knew and worked with Richard.  This new bass waterphone is so very resonant, responsive and expressive!  It is a dream to play.  What you hear on this demo was performed live without effects or editing.  Enjoy! Pixote (pee-shoh-tche) Blue is made up of selected works from the last few years of live performances across the American Southwest. This particular release is of the dance tracks I've made, the NEXT EP will be from a specific performance entitled "Cholo as Xixtli (Man Dung)/O Forró do Vaquiero Pixote".  Some of these songs were released in some way before this, but here they die.
