alarm!systemen is a solo project made up of musical diary entries recorded over different years and phases of my life. It's how I process thoughts and emotions, and most of it wasn't or is made with the intention of being shared.

Putting this music out feels uncomfortable at times, like revealing something too personal. But maybe that's part of what makes it worth doing. 

A lot of close friends, and even people I didn’t expect, told me they heard something of themselves in this music. That surprised me. For a long time, I treated these recordings like something private I just needed to get out of my system. I wasn’t planning to share them.

But hearing that others connected with it made me question whether keeping it to myself was almost selfish. Maybe it can mean something to someone else too. I hope so.

I also feel that once you release music or any kind of art, it stops being just yours. It becomes part of the collective consciousness. That’s another reason I felt it was time to let this go.
