This week for episode 074, we've invited another one of Ireland's burgeoning artists to join our podcast series. Chris Flannigan takes over the controls for sixty minutes with a fast paced mix of hardgroove and tribal techno, original productions and unreleased material that is greatly influenced by the 90’s & 00’s era.

The Belfast born DJ and producer now residing in Barcelona first caught our attention in late 2022 as a result of a number of self released tracks on Soundcloud & Bandcamp that swiftly acquired popularity in the Irish scene and further afield. More significantly, his remix of the iconic Kerri Chandler track "You're In My System" has been a staple in the sets of other prolific artists and has been shaking dance floors throughout Europe and beyond.

Since then, Chris's reputation has grown, and his productions have become more refined, earning him releases on reputable labels like Concrete Berlin, Influenced Records, Rave Your Soul, Aktivv Berlin & Numerous, which have received support from names like Bailey Ibbs, Kettama, Prospa, and many others.

Coming off of his recent Cork debut with up-and-comers Dylan Fogarty & Cult, and with other engagements in the works, the young musician's future is looking promising. He has only given us a taste of his abilities, but he is unquestionably one to watch in the years to come.

Today we welcome Ireland based DJ, producer and label owner Jon10 to the series. Since embarking on his quest in music production in late 2021, he has released a slew of blistering productions on labels such as Deadline records, Sonic Intel, Aktivv Berlin, and most recently releasing his debut EP “Groove Assassination” on his own imprint “Izotope”.

In early 2020 he founded Izotope which is a Limerick, Ireland based collective trying to burst onto the Irish electronic music scene. Jon10 has established himself as an interdisciplinary artist who is not afraid to branch out beyond the trope of promoting and running a label. This ambition has landed him the title as being one of the driving forces behind the post pandemic revival of rave culture in the south west of Ireland.

Jon10’s Groove infused style mixing and producing has caught the attention of many 
which has landed him slots at renowned clubs and festivals across Ireland and Berlin, sharing the stage with the best artists in the industry. Whilst all of this being achieved in the infancy of his career we’ve still yet to capture, the full potential or the Limerick native.

Been a big fan of DJ Sun since discovering his track 'Uh Ah' last summer on Akronym and something between us might just be bubbling away in the pipeline, so it's a pleasure to have him join us in July.

This week, we invited Marv to showcase a dancefloor-oriented selection of hypnotic grooves. Marv plays a solid techno set gradually layering rhythms of varying emotions. Hailing from Cologne, he draws constant inspiration from his surroundings, aiming to foster an environment that respects the values and significance of the scene. Having played for local collectives, such as Jedermensch Koeln, and a recent private event for Agencies Factory, his focus lies on letting the music take center stage.

Furthermore, we are delighted to have Tara Bookena gracing this week's cover again with sophisticated artwork layering and merging organic shapes to create a colorful psychedelic mandala.
