Fresh off the back of his solo and collaborative label debuts last year, we’re excited to bring you the next step in the development of sound of this Manchester based talent. With an ability to turn his hand to a whole wealth of styles, he’s a great fit for the label, always bringing something fresh and for a range of occasions. 
Deep, musical, rolling – Kublai always seems to have all the weapons at his disposal – and his new ‘Don’t Rush’ EP is no exception. He’s already got his drums on lock and the bass has got the necessary fizz and weight in spades too. And the song writing just keeps improving as he starts to really find his own palette. ‘Don’t Rush’ and ‘No Unity’ bring the rolling dancefloor vibe, while another collab with studio ally Minor Forms sees Jungle flavours bought to the fore. And an exciting meeting of minds and first linkup with young vocal talent Aaliyah Esprit on ‘Pushin’’ is one for the lovers, not the fighters.

1 year ago, we lost a genius of underground music, Marcus Intalex a great talent and pioneer in the Jungle / Drum & Bass and Techno scene. Marcus is one of the main reasons i make music. Before leaving, I was doing this song called "The Gentleman" in his honor, after 1 year he left us - I decided to release the mp3 for Free Download. The song contains Pads and Synths in the line that Marcus has always inspired me to do, I used some Samples / Fx from "Golf" one of his favorite hobbies. Hope you like it!
