AlbaRoma are a six piece, multi-national band based in Edinburgh. The name is an homage to Scotland where the band live and a nod to Roma music where the melodies often take influence. The band members hail from Scotland, Spain, Ireland, Iran and England. 

The band formed though a desire to showcase the beauty of Edinburgh's multiculturalism though their songs. They offer an invigorating and intelligent message of protest in an era of often vacuous indie. 

Musically, Middle Eastern melodies and rhythms are fused with traditional Celtic folk, and a smattering of flamenco grooves performed with the speed and raw energy of British punk.
