''I'll Believe It When I See It'' Approach - KJRX8tYLpLk

- Ḥadīth #11: Leaving Doubt.
- Brief biography of al-Ḥasan b. ‘Alī (رضى الله عنهما).
- The year of his birth and the birth of his brother al-Ḥusayn (رضى الله عنهما). 
- The name ‘Alī initially given to al-Ḥasan when he was born. 
- The permissibility of a grandparent referring to their grandchild as their son/daughter.
- The ‘aqīqah of al-Ḥasan.
- A heartwarming ḥadīth where Abū Bakr asserted that al-Ḥasan resembled the Prophet ﷺ and not his father ‘Alī. 
- Imām adh-Dhahabī (رحمه الله) on some of the noble characteristics of al-Ḥasan.
- Ibn Kathīr (رحمه الله) on al-Ḥasan’s many marriages, ‘Alī’s address to the people of Kūfah regarding this, and their response to him. 
- The children of al-Ḥasan. 
- A du’ā of the Messenger ﷺ for al-Ḥasan, which is an encouragement for us to love him. 
- Aḥādīth that highlight the great love the Messenger ﷺsall had for his grandchildren. 
- The endearing manner in which the Messenger ﷺ described al-Ḥasan and al-Ḥusayn. 
- Proof for the tremendous virtue of Ahlul-Bayt.
- Looking to the Sunnah for answers and taking the Messenger ﷺ as an example in order to have barakah in our homes.

Text of the ḥadīth:

عن أبي مُحَمَّدٍ الْحَسَنِ بنِ عليِّ بنِ أبي طالِبٍ، سِبْطِ رسولِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ورَيْحانَتِهِ رَضِي اللهُ عَنْهُما قالَ: حَفِظْتُ مِنْ رسولِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: "دَعْ مَا يَرِيبُكَ إِلَى مَا لاَ يَرِيبُكَ. رواهُ التِّرمذيُّ والنَّسائِيُّ، وقالَ التِّرمذيُّ: حديثٌ حسَنٌ صحيحٌ.

From Abū Muḥammad al-Ḥasan b. ‘Alī b. Abī Ṭālib, the grandson of the Messenger of Allāh ﷺ and his sweet fragrance  (رضى الله عنه) who said, “I memorised from the Messenger of Allāh ﷺ, ‘Leave that which makes you doubt for that which does not make you doubt.’” [Related by Tirmidhī and an-Nasāʾī]
