Quantum

Theta Eridani (θ Eri, θ Eridani) is a star in the constellation Eridanus. It has the traditional name Acamar from the Arabik Ākhir an-nahr which means "the end of the river“.
Acamar is a double star with some evidence suggesting it is part of a multiple star system
Acamar's distance from Earth as measured by the Hipparcos astrometry satellite is approximately 120 light-years.
Ptolemy described Acamar as a first-magnitude star, which some have taken to be in fact Achernar, which today appears just above the horizon in Alexandria where Ptolemy lived.
Achernar, however, was not visible to Ptolemy (it is from Alexandria today due to procession); its declination in 100CE was -67, making it invisible even at Aswan. Ptolemy's Eridanus thus without doubt ended at Acamar, which rose about 10 degrees above the horizon from Alexandria. This fact besides positively identifying Acamar as the original "end of the river", also strengthens the case for Acamar having been first magnitude in ancient times.

We welcome Italian rising star Enrico Sangiuliano to Tronic! After countless hits on Drumcode, Alleanza, and Unrilis, Enrico decided to send us some music for a release on Tronic. He gave a us a powerful techno track ‘Hook At The Border’ which is sure to rock any floor. If this was not enough we enlisted another one of our favourites, Paride Saraceni, to make two remixes of this track. Paride delivered a peak time festival style remix as well as a deeper yet still powerful version. We are very happy with this release and hope you will hammer this release.

A work 12 months in the making, Adam Beyer continues his exciting series of collaborative EPs, teaming up with heavy-hitters Pig&Dan for an multi-faceted four-tracker.

Chances are up if you spied Adam Beyer in an airport departure lounge over the past 12 months, he’d have his head buried in his laptop, immersed in creating sound sketches. A long-time fan of collaborations, the Drumcode chief has been on an inspiring streak of form lately, teaming up with the likes of Mark Reeve, Dense & Pika and now Pig&Dan. The results have been compelling, to say the least. 

In trademark perfectionist Beyer style, the title track ‘Capsule’ – a shimmering slice of techno - involved “around 15 different versions” the track rigorously road tested by the Swede and featured in episodes of Drumcode Radio to test dancefloor reactions, before finally getting the sign off.  ‘In Love’ is a big room techno groover, driven by crisp drums and the kind of evocative vocal effect that’ll have hairs standing on ends. ‘Atmosfear’ is true to its name, centered on a menacing synth line and gritty percussion, its deep kicks and subterranean bass combining superbly to create a heady dancefloor brew. ‘We Are E’ is propelled by a catchy synth hook and a classic call-to-arms vocal, which tips its cap to the artists’ shared love of classic UK rave.

Pan-Pot may have had the best year ever after their recent hit, „Captain My Captain“ garnered positive feedback from fans and highly regarded DJs and producers alike – making them a throbbing phenomenon. Their first live gig at Sven Väth’s infamous Cocoon party at Amnesia in Ibiza may have caused the ambitious duo to produced more sweat than the ring of igniting fireworks surrounding them at „Awakenings“ in Holland, but it respectively pinned them on the map as internationally recognized artists. When the phone call came in from their idols from Slam, two new remixes were born on the „20 Years of Soma“ compilation. Thomas Benedix and Tassilo Ippenberger not only made their first impression on camera in 2011, but on the tops of charts as well.

Thus, mobilee presents Pan-Pot’s „Gravity“, the first single release after their successful outputs: „Captain My Captain“ and the „Lifetimes“ remixes. The release doubles as a teaser to the sixth edition of the successful „Back to Back“ compilation series.

Blasting off the A-side is „Gravity“, a high-tempo number picking up linear momentum verse after verse, featuring serious vocals by G-Tech. On the flip, Cari Golden’s soulful vocals chime in and out of the expressional „No One Knows“. Safeword, a magnetic duo comprised of Clint Stewart and Marc Smith from San Francisco, remix „Gravity“ through heaven and hell as „Sunset“ delivers a calm and spiritual opening piece slowly easing the listener into „Tenderloin“, a dark, grave track with subdued vocals and feeble beats.

In a whirlwind of triumph, this release is only a pint-sized preview of bigger things to come as „Pan-Pot The Documentary“ makes its way to a cinematic premiere in Berlin on February 21, 2012. The 2011 tour-docu will be included in DVD form as part of the „mobilee Back To Back Vol. 6 - Presented by Pan-Pot“ compilation package.

Joining the WCF imprint with his ‘Distorted Time EP’, the Manchester based Transcode brings his driving sound to Egg LDN’s in-house label to showcase his versatile approach to production.

With the vinyl press being released at the beginning of November, followed by the digital version, which includes the bonus track ‘Backlash’, due out on 14th December, the EP includes two remixes by the club’s close friends Secret Cinema and OC & Verde.

Manchester based OC & Verde bring their stamp to the release with their remix of ‘Rotation’. Using a blend of drawn-out synths to build up a powerful lead, packed with raw percussions, it certainly shows the sonic direction the duo has been working on over the last year.

Native of Marseille, Forrest Bump is a DJ and produces Melodic Techno. Influenced by artists like Victor Ruiz and Boris Brejcha, he decided to become a DJ and bring his own compositions to life. On July 17 2014, then a member of another project, he seized the opportunity to do Boris Brejcha's closure in Marseille. In 2015 and 2016, he followed NTO as his sound technician on his festival tour, including Dour and I Love Techno.

In 2022, inspired by Afterlife artists like Tale of Us, he released his first project "Subway", and managed to capture attention. 

He experiments with elements inspired by steam punk, cyberpunk and space operas universes, adding a unique touch to his universe, where electronic music and these worlds meet in a singular way.

His debut album "Alone in the Sea" was released on 23 June 2023, with the desire to strike hard right from the start by initiating a new creative cycle. With Alone in the Sea, Forrest Bump deliver its unique universe, created to be experienced as a whole, where the listener is taken on a journey, sailing through the different ports with a rare intensity

With his new single Quantum, Forrest Bump continues this journey through Techno, giving us a more nervous composition, and by reaching another step in his career by playing it for the first time on Clubbing TV.
