MMBN Chrono X - 03 - Execute!

It's been a while since I last uploaded something, so here's some music to fill that void for a period of time.

Here is the Rival Mode music from Puyo Puyo Sun. Some people may recognise this as Draco's Theme in Puyo Puyo 20th Anniversary (which in itself used both the Ketteiban and Arcade version transposes). This was rendered using the Sega Megadrive's Yamaha YM2612 FM Synthesiser Chip. All samples used in this rendition follow the 5 FM, 3 PSG and PCM/DAC channel limitations (if you can call it as such), and I had great fun doing this! This is played in the same transpose as found in Puyo Puyo Sun Ketteiban (which is three notes lower than the Arcade transpose).

Sonic Mania - Mirage Saloon (James Wong Remix)

Nothing special really. I just got bored and decided to mix two completely different sound chips together based on an original Y2403 rendition from a game released on the PC-98, Madou Monogatari ARS. I much preferred Schezo's opening theme to Arle's and Rulue's, so I did his. The FM Percussion and two PSG-esque Square Waves came from an OPL-2 sound chip, whereas the Triangle Wave Bass coupled with two further Square Waves came from the RP2A07 APU. I must admit, I don't know what I was doing with the Percussion! It does sound erratic, yet strangely it fits the tune. *shrugs*
