After his spaceship's parameters got damaged in a fierce laser battle, Dj Yox is lost in space on his intergalactic bass journey. Drifting into nothingness, his spaceship steers off course...to eventually crash on an extraterrestrial planet. Dj Yox must create bass music to keep distracted and optimistic. Banging out tune after tune, to keep him smiling while stranded, he notices that his engines can be powered by the forces of bass...Dj Yox drives up the bass levels high on this ep...producing enough bass, for his last escape.

finally my Fusion set 2023 is here.
This Festival is very dear to my heart. I have been playing there since almost 20 years and it’s a space where I feel a special artistic freedom.
The political background of the festival reflects back into my set and inspires me over and over to new musical journeys.
This set flies from 85-170 BPM and across genres and messages.

Opening of the Ambient Floor Garbicz 2016

Friday at sunset, Burning Man 2018, an impressive number of humans gathered with us in front of Bjarke Ingels’ installation THE ORB. Under the guidance of Eva Kaczor and her PSYCHEDELIC BREATH, we shifted into a state of non-ordinary consciousness, experiencing deeply what it means to be human and go beyond.

This is the soundtrack that Acid Pauli created especially for this experience. May it take you into this powerful ritual that many of you opened for new beginnings.

PSYCHEDELIC BREATH is Eva Kaczor’s own mix of dynamic breathing techniques from ancient traditions and contemporary science. I always found it challenging to record a studio podcast: my analytical mind is trying to calculate every move, evaluate each transition & criticize the selection. I have time, music & equipment at my disposal, but one key element is missing to really tell a story: humans.

I encountered that problem last weekend. Although I was playing music I enjoy, I felt that my technically structured mix was too stiff and impersonal. 

____

Then, some of my favourite humans turned up at the studio. As Ashley, Apolline, Axel & Robin entered the room, the studio was suddenly filled with a great energy & I felt like pressing the rec button again, just for fun - this is when the first minutes of  S y m b i o s e  were captured. 
____

I feel this studio mix is an authentic representation of the energy levels I like to navigate through during a longer set. It features some of my favourite tracks in a nod to the past but also has a touch of the future; new sounds that are moving me forward & some of my new compositions. 
____

I’m happy to share this mix as I’m taking off for Argentina, what marks my first adventure of the decade. This music session brought me clarity, presence & joy! I hope you'll resonate with it.
