A full-length album is truly one of my favorite things to create because if arranged properly it can be much more than just a collection of songs.  Where ‘INTROVERT’ was a very intimate and introspective record, I think you’ll find ‘DISTLEFUNK’ to carry an entirely different theme of fun and energy.  This one took almost 4 years to create, although most of the music that made the record was created in the past 9 months.  I am quite happy with this one.

Volition EP is my newest duo of tracks.  It might actually be my favorite 10-minutes of any music that I have made to date.  I am lucky to be able to use the vocals of my wife Molly for these two tracks.  Her voice brought something special to the tracks and the progression of everything in this EP was executed exactly as I intended, which is rare for me.  Enjoy.

This is the 3rd edition of my ‘running mixes’ - I’m not big on mixes, but sometimes I like to create ones that help keep me running. If you can’t tell, I’m in a Jonathan Gooch kinda mood lately….But his tracks are some of the very best for running.  Unlike my previous Running Mixes, this one is from a live set using Ableton, my APC40, Maschine and my favorite tracks at the moment.  I’ve been holding back a lot of original material because I want my next official release to be a big step up from my older material, but I’m also trying to keep pushing myself in terms of DJ’ing and Controllerism….This one took a while before I was happy with it and there may be some imperfections here and there, but I’m always learning and trying to have fun. Albino 9's Running Mix (Volume 4)- Free Download

Bata is a track focused on deep sub bass, real vibraphones and arrangement of some wonderful Bata drums I was fortunate enough to be able to sample.  Traditional Bata drums are very unique and remind me of the tabla, but with a conga-type skin sound.  This was the track that really started me on the path to adding more and more hand percussion throughout my tracks on 'Introvert'.  Enjoy!!

Gold is a track that features my wife, Molly Shelby on vocals.  I wanted to create a central, sprawling track to 'Introvert' that felt like a large empty space.....or a long distance to travel.

This track is just about breaking through - that moment it all clears up and when it all makes sense.  The middle piano is done by Molly Shelby and myself, followed by my favorite drop on 'Introvert'.  I am very happy with the sound design on this one and might be the only track that will feature me playing an accordion.

This track has roots in Skinny Puppy and Front Line Assembly.  Long live 90's industrial vibes.

The ending features some samples of one of my favorite stand-up comics, Rick Shapiro on his first CD, 'Unconditional Love'.
