Born as a young raver in Los Angeles, he made his way to Germany. As a young child, he secretly stayed up late & listened to Techno and Jungle on the British military station BFBS. During his teenage years, he was an active part of the illegal rave community, growing up immersed in the sounds of Schranz, Jungle, Drum & Bass and Techno.
A few years ago, Steven Shade discovered his love for DJing and was able to convey his unique style of mixing and selecting through his experiences and impressions in various rave communities. His sets are always dynamic and full of suspense, often breaking stylistic boundaries and adhering to no norms.
Through DJing, Steven began producing music and has found his home after 10 years of Releasing Techno in Hardgroove and Groove Techno. Appropriately, he founded the label "Pass The Vibe Check", where he hosts his new tracks and mixtapes from friends.
