He flatters every autocrat whose morals are deplorable.
He praises cruelty daily like it’s something that’s adorable.

He twists the law to shield himself from justice and exposure,
His hands are in the coffers while he’s stinking up composure.
Each day he plants a new decay inside the constitution,
And every breath’s a catalyst for violent retribution.

My tolerance is fractured, every headline makes it worsen,
He treats the nation’s future like the wallet of one person.
So I’m pacing and I’m scheming, with my anger double-ticking,

I’ve rifled through the dictionary, every word I’ve underlined,
But every foul description has already been assigned.
He fits them all too perfectly, each word a true rendition,
If evil had a synonym then he's the definition.

I have marched, I’ve called, I’ve written, I have prayed for resignation.
I have shouted in the public square and whispered in the kitchen,
I have begged the gods of reason, but they’re tired and they’re twitching.
