Black Chamber-Other Days

I produced and wrote this song about two weeks before the murder of George Floyd, and have been holding onto it ever since. While I feel the song is still unfinished, I think it’s time to let it out into the world. 

To those of you who know me, it may come as a surprise to you that I can rap...believe me, it was a surprise to me too at first, but no genre hits home for me more than Hip Hop. Hip Hop has always been music stemming from overcoming struggles and persevering through the darkest situations, and it is the genre which helped teach me how to be strong and brave. I hope that by opening up my inner world to the entire world, I can help spread a message which can help us to stay strong as a collective and fight for what is right for all of our Black brothers and sisters here in America and in this world.

I fully stand with the Black Lives Matter movement and would like to find a way to set it up so that all the profits from this song can go to a charity supporting the movement, so if any of you can help with making this a reality, I would greatly appreciate it. 

I ask that you please share this song on social media, and with friends and family...not for me, but for what is right. We will keep fighting...justice is necessary and we cannot have peace until this is made right. Thank you to everyone who took the time to listen, read this, and share. I love you all.
