Jussi Leppänen AKA Alchemiist, is a Finnish Hard NRG and Freeform DJ & producer. His first experience with Freeform back in 2004 when he was just 14 years old, left him less than impressed with the style and fast BPM but very quickly grew to love it. In 2006 at the young age of 16, Jussi started producing after being inspired by one of his friends and today he is co-owner of the legendary Finnish Hard Dance label, FINRG Recordings.
 
In 2009 Jussi heard a track called Maggots by the king of Filth, Grady G and immediately fell in love with the Hard NRG sound and decided to try his hand at DJing. It wasn’t long before he was tearing up dance floors in his home town of Tampere where he played his first gig in 2011. 

Jussi has continued to impress with his signature Hard NRG style and has now DJ’d, not only in his local area but in the UK as well where he has been favourited by the Hard House & NRG label Raw Power Recordings who signed him to the label. With his main influences being the likes of Grady G, Dramatik, Narc, Proteus, Pain On Creation, Epyx & Cyrez, it’s no surprise that he has earned his place as one of the top Hard NRG producers!
