Downplay is proud to welcome York-based producer two-weeks to the label for his brand new release “Give For Love”.

Making a significant statement of intent from the outset, two-weeks brings some serious atmospherics on opener ‘Beautiful Mind’, with melancholy strings soaring across a bubbling 2-step rhythm that evokes the mood-focused ethos of Future Garage, mixed with the producer’s own inimitable style.

Title track ‘Give For Love’ continues the trend, taking it’s time to build a brooding ambience with dissonant keys and ghostly vocals, before unfolding across rolling percussion into a truly beguiling melodic masterpiece.

‘Show Me Your Fears’ closes out the EP with a definite up-tick in tempo, delivering a sparkling vocal-led garage with staccato beats for something a little different but equally engaging as the remainder of the release.
