John Beesemyer-Monkman and Chris Hanson are two young Londoners who have been cooking it up for a while now, testing the material on dancefloors across the globe then whipping it back into the studio for some added power and squelch. Its rare that artists introduce a genuinely new sound to the scene but a brief listen to Flip Flop will show you that they are trying something different and that its working.

If you've been on a heaving festival dancefloor in the last year and have wondered what that exotic hybrid of psychedelic trance and deep atmospheric electronica is that shakes the system to its foundations, there's a fighting chance that these two are responsible. John and Chris have been friend's since they were kids and unlike a lot of artists they have really grown up with trance music since arguably its heyday of creativity in the late 90s.

Their live sets at festivals like Glade and Universo Parallelo have repeatedly been seen as highlights by party goers and other artists alike. They have both been DJing for more than ten years, giving them an acute understanding of what it takes to push tracks beyond the superficial and into the realm of powerful and captivating dancefloor music. They don't merely churn it out and there's a lot of love and discipline in the studio which adds a welcome depth and confidence to their sound. So immersed in music and parties are these boys that you have probably shared a cup of sunrise chai or at least a smiling dance with them without even realizing it. Their warm personalities have made them easy guests for party people and much in demand as a liveact, and this character shines out of the album. Floppy Drive crunches and clobbers its way through 70 minutes of bold and shuddering, groovy and hypnotic dance music.

Flip Flop aren't locked in by the rules of the genre instead utilizing them to build stunning sound scape's, even at times creeping away from trance music with snatches of ambiance and technoid crossover which reward the listener without confusing the palette.

M-Theory, originally U.K. based Marcello Baccheschi and Rob Nichols.
Meeting on the dance floor of Sola Luna (2001) they became good friends and in 2005 began to produce music together as M-Theory.

Italian-born Marchello moved to London in 1997 where he started dj'ing trance. Label dj for Etnicanet Records from 2001, he moved to Neurobiotic Records in 2005. He has played international festivals around the world (Celebra Brazil, Brazilian Trance Festival, Sonica and more).

Producing under his solo project Cimi, he has appeared in compilations for Alchemy Records, Point Zero Records and Yellow Sunshine Explosion. U.K. born Rob studied music from an early age. After taking piano, He moved on to drums and guitar playing in school and college bands. He was involved in the early 90's London squat party scene. In 2000 he began producing psytrance as Monastic Squid, releasing on Alchemy Records and Procyon Records.

Signed to Alchemy Records at the beginning of 2007, M-Theory have been exciting international dance floors with their deep, edgy morning melodic sounds, underpinned by chunky phat and funky bass lines. Having released regularly with various labels around the globe, M-Theory are pleased to present their debut album - Branes.

Biography:
Ikaro started djing when he was only 16. When he turned 20 he was performing at big stages in brazil like "Playground" in Recife & Natal, Imaginarium (Fortaleza), Transpiration (Joao Pesaoa), Liquid Sky, Eco tribe and Shambhala in his home town Recife and Valve (Rio de Janeiro) to name a few, before embarking to a new life adventure in Australia - the place where he developed his music skills the most. 
In Australia, Ikaro performed in cities like Melbourne, Sydney and Coffs Harbour for different crews. Now based in Europe, he has joined forces to create Photosynthesis with his friend Yotam Avidan (Israel).
