You're almost there!... I'm talking about the weekend, and especially Sunday, the sacred day of rest.

I'm currently going through a rather strange period in my life, both professionally and personally: things are changing and I have new desires, such as listening to myself more and respecting my desires. Having a quiet Sunday to laze around is one of them, and I hope I've managed to make it the ideal soundtrack.

Growing up a girl and letting people do things to you for years and years means your anger will turn biblical.
Anger that is incoherent.
Unidentifiable.
Insocoloable.

I was very young when I was cracked open.
Some things you should let go of, 
others you shouldn't.
Views differ as to which.
I keep ahold of everything, just in case.

Memory taps a gun to your inner skull and demands you bring back the dead.
Your father's blood will be your blood
until you're both rotting in the ground.
When you stare in the mirror,
his face will be glaring back at you with utter
disdain and disapointment.
Only a father can truly have that effect.

People ask me why I'm so angry, so dismissive, so aggressive.
I am angry because of my father.
Because he would come home,
wrinkled from work,
and slam the door so hard
the house would shiver.
I am angry because of my father.

Isaac did not forgive his father
