El Hip Hop nacional tiene como referencia a ALCOLIRYKOZ, una agrupación que nació en 1999 en el barrio Aranjuez de Medellín, Colombia en manos de los músicos Juan Carlos Fonnegra ‘Gambeta’, junto con su primo Carlos Andrés ‘Kaztro’ y su vecino Gustavo Adolfo ‘Fazeta’. Gracias al arduo trabajo de estos artistas, ALCOLIRYCOZ logra lanzar su primera producción en demo llamada ‘En letras mayúsculas’. En 2009, produjeron su primer álbum: ‘La revancha de los tímidos’. Para 2011 realizaron el EP llamado ‘El despilfarro’. Posteriormente apareció ‘Viejas recetas, remixes y otras rarezas’ en 2012. Por último, en 2014 salió al mercado musical ‘Efectos secundarios’. Además, han producido 3 sencillos desde entonces: ‘N.A.D.A’ (2015), ‘Equipo de carretera’ (2016) y ‘Changó’ (2016).

ALCOLIRYCOZ nace teniendo como antecedente el anterior nombre de la agrupación, ‘Arnez’, haciendo referencia a Aranjuez, el barrio donde comenzó esta historia, cargada de talento y emociones para la banda y sus fanáticos.
