Al Connelly started his career as the guitarist,(a)songwriter, and one of the founding members of the Juno Award winning Canadian band Glass Tiger. The band enjoyed international success with their songs reaching Top 10 Billboard status as well as a Grammy nomination for Best New Artist, with songs like Someday and Don’t Forget Me (when I’m gone)

Al is constantly in production, writing and producing material (Sports anthems, film or Advertisements) as well as co-writes and releasing his own solo projects as a songwriter. ('In Another Life')

Al has received song writing awards for writing some of the bands better known songs like “Someday’ ‘My Town’ and ‘Animal Heart’ ‘Thin Red Line’ etc and received  Canadian SOCAN classic Songwriters Awards in Toronto for songs ‘ My Town.’which features Rod Stewart) and ‘Someday’ co-written with Alan Frew and Jim Vallance ( Bryan Adams) 

The band toured non-stop with the likes of Tina Turner in Europe and the ever popular Journey in America, and Roxette ( Europe & Canada) while managing to put out 5 albums over the years (1986 to 2019) and has played thousands of live shows as headliners since.
