The German one-man music project embodies winter perfectly and this song especially has stuck on me as a masterpiece. We are eagerly waiting for new material.

ColdWorld - Hymn To Eternal Frost

The opening track for "V/A - The World comes to an End in the End of A Journey", 2009. 
For me this track has been the definition of winter themed post-rock. The album an atmospheric masterpiece that combines snowy industrialized towns with train tracks and solemn, grey, bittersweet and lonely emotions.

Heretoir brings the snowfall to tragic sounding settings. An emotional interpretation of the silent beauty that is a desolate winter landscape.

This amazing album came out of nowhere and had many Summoning fans convinced that they had been beaten in their own game. It is a masterpiece indeed and I hope this group will continue to extend their catalogue, they are truly capable of greatness.

This is a bit of a hidden gem not known to many, more of a tranquil piece of The Angelic Process otherworldly music catalog. There is a sense of unnerving peacefulness within this track, a posthumous rain of the apocalypse.
