This Mix is dedicated to the GodFather of House, Mr. Frankie Knuckles.  At this very moment I am still very speechless about his passing.  As a DJ and Music Enthusiast, I followed Frankie knuckles through his beautiful music and lovely sets!  I wish I had the chance to meet him, but hopefully I will one day in a better place.  Thank you Mr Knuckles for bringing House music to my ears and the world!  The beats shall continue and the true House music will not die. Out of pain and into the light. Puffy eyes and all I tried to articulate my feelings through sound. We had planned to do this interview some weeks before and then Frankie made his transition. I didn't know how I would present myself after not having proper rest for a few days. It was making a composition on my laptop to express myself that helped start me to come to peace in my mind.

Shalamar - A Night To Remember (M&M  Extended Mix)

In 1988 I remember buying a 12" called 'Weekend' by Todd Terry. I fell in love with it upon first listen, and it would always make the dance floor go crazy whenever I played it.
A few months later while record shopping I came across the Class Action original, and was completely blown away, not only by its absolute awesomeness, but also at how TT made it his own.
I've wanted to do an edit of the original for a long time now, and came up with this last Weekend. ;-)

New York has spawned some terrific DJs and Jerome Sydenham's one that played a major part in the city's electric dance music scene in the 90s. 

Starting out as an A&amp;R for Atlantic Records in the late 80s, it was there he became associated with Kerri Chandler and by 1995 he found himself touring internationally with Chandler and another house don, Joe Claussell.
