Joey Daniel unveils new label SiO Records, launching a hub where music meets graphic design and beyond.

Creating and maintaining an identity within dance music is never an easy task, yet Joey Daniel continues to evolve while staying true to his own sound and style. A regular at Sunwaves, Music On, Unum Festival, Paradise and Caprices Festival, Daniel’s musical heritage gives him a different outlook to many within the scene with consistency at the heart of his work and thinking. A natural progression of this approach comes via the launch of his own imprint, SiO Records. A project shaped around the Dutch favourite's own vision to combine music and graphic design, April sees the label’s first instalment as he drops three fresh productions via his ‘Starting Point’ EP.

“I always looked up to a selection of labels that immediately made you look forward to the next release coming. I knew what to expect; they had a strong musical identity and were all led by an artist within that sound. That’s an idea I always kept in my mind: starting my own label with my sound at its heart while working with and featuring artists with unique styles that fit, regardless of whether they are known or unknown. The artists represented the label, which is what I want to create with SiO. Not only with the music but with the artwork to create a strong visual identity, so when you see it or hear it, you know that it's SiO.” - Joey Daniel.

Slick drums and icy hats guide smooth title cut ‘Starting Point’, combining rich chords, slinking bass and resonant melodies across a shuffling roller. ‘Show Up’ journeys darker and deeper as bubbling low ends work alongside vocal flickers and sharp drum licks, before laying the focus on crisp organic percussion, sweeping synths and off-kilter samples across the classy late-night sonics of his ‘Dark To Dawn Mix’.

Joey Daniel returns to SiO Records with his fresh three-tracker ‘The Message’ as he delivers the second EP on the label.

An artist whose groove-led sound continues to evolve and blossom, Amsterdam’s Joey Daniel is a name you can rely on for quality and consistency. After featuring across a long list of the world’s most renowned venues alongside releases via a host of top tier labels, he added the title of label boss to his ever-growing list of accolades earlier this year after founding his own imprint SiO Records. Having launched the label with his impressive three-track EP ‘Starting Point’, welcoming support from Marco Carola, Jamie Jones, Guti, Djebali, Vlad Caia, Janeret and more, the Dutchman now returns with a trio of fresh cuts as he unveils his ‘The Message’ EP.
Title cut ‘The Message’ welcomes an understated yet infectious groove guided by silky keys, refined rolling drums and playful bass licks as the Amsterdam native gets things moving nicely. ‘5AM Hung Kee’ ups the energy and keeps things moving nicely as organic percussion arrangements guide echoed vocal interjections and sweeping pads towards sun-drenched terraces, before closing the show via the wonky, after-hours sounds of ‘Going Places’.

Chilean Dj & Producer, in 1996 motivated by musical curiosity, he participated in different Funk,
Indie and Soul Bands. In this way he learned about other musical genres that were little known in
his city in those years. Aldo was very impressed and captivated. After a couple of years, He makes his first appearances as a Disc Jockey.
In 2000 he created "Casa Club", one of the first electronic music clubs in Santiago de Chile, where
Chilean artists such as Ricardo Villalobos, Luciano, Dinky, Cristian Vogel, Dandy Jack, among others, performed, sharing a booth several times.
Also with a new music scene, rapidly growing and connected to what was happening in Europe, Aldo was invited to the first Events and Festivals that were held in Chile, Some like Love Parede, Open Rave, Earth Dance among others.
His historic DJ sets, always loaded with infectious rhythms, on the dance floor and his extensive musical repertoire.
For decades, they have generated invitations to clubs and events in various countries during his career.
In 2005 he debuted as a producer, releasing his first EP on the German label Force Tracks.
With great success and recognition by different market platforms.
Over the next few years, he began to be featured with his creative and notable sound by a host of respected and influential record labels.
He has always shown wide versatility at the time of creation, earning the support of renowned DJs, who have played his Tracks and Remixes on the biggest stages.

Christian Burkhardt is an artist truly absorbed with the range of sonic possibilities. A producer not content with existing within the realms of House and Techno, but one that is determined to further stretch its limits with his signature sound. A native of Heidelberg, Germany, who along with the likes of Reboot, Johnny D or Einzelkind - all from the country‘s Southwest quarter - have carved out a niche‘ revolution within House and Techno that has influenced the global electronic music commu- nity nearly as much as Detroit, Chicago, London and Berlin have in there respective years of glory.His earliest productions found there way onto Oslo, Raum...Musik, Deep Vibes and Area Remote. All regarded as contemporary go-to labels for quality House music. In 1998, ‚Doubledub‘ surged through the speakers of main floor events and fueled after hours across Europe and beyond. Since then it‘s been clear that Burkhardt approaches music making with a strong detail to complex rhythms that not only move your body, but rise above generic club music. His masterful use of technology meshed with the warm sounds of analog gear and over 13 years of music production experi- ence, have tinged his production with a unique sound that other produ- cers praise and DJ‘s never seem to stop playing. Solely on the basis of his productions, he has been invited to present the sounds of his Offenbach studio in the form of a live set, on nearly every continent. Live sets which are by no means a playlist of Burkhardt hits. This melody and groove ob- sessed sound pioneer tweaks, layers and twists his sounds differently for every event. Inspiring even himself with every performance, increasing the passion of his own purpose. 2010 brought Burkhardt to a new level with his first album project, Revolver, co- produced with Einzelkind on their new Jax label. You certainly know some of their past collaborations as the infamous La Peña. His long list of remixes for Tsuba Records, Mobilee and Deep Vibes were still ringing in club lands ears, as a new batch of original material on Oslo, Raum...Musik and Cocoon were given the stamp of approval 2011, with constant rotation in clubs, radio and podcasts. His suc- cess is measured only in the pleasure that he finds in making music.A feeling that may start in the club, but it never seems ends there.

Dayne Harris is a DJ and producer who was born in California and raised in Santiago, Chile.
 
Early exposure to a wide range of top-tier chilean artists helped him develop his creative instinct. He participated in bands, performances, jazz concerts, and several other projects, learning how to deal with various types of audiences.
 
His DJ sets and productions blend house music with a variety of sensations, styles, and genres, mainly inspired by Hip-Hop, Soul, Funk, Jazz, Afro, and Latin rhythms.
 
Dayne has been building a name for himself in the chilean underground house scene since 2019, being integrated into Sight Sound Soul and most recently joining Numerique Records.

Here’s the first release of the Hungarian Alliwant Wax limited VINYL series including label owner James Cole’s 2 original tracks beside the remix of one of the scene’s most inspiring and respected producers, Diego Krause and another remix from the Israeli Mike Sharon.

Both original tracks bring back the oldschool deep house wrapped in modern sound. The deep sexy groove, the catchy vox and melody work really well on the dance floor.

Diego Krauses remix operates with his characteristic sound, its minimalistic build-up features dynamic grooves. Mike Sharon’s version is more epic and more emotional using the pads of classic deep house - we’ll love it!

Geovanni, Brazilian who started his career as a DJ and music producer to express his feelings for music, something he carried since his childhood, always researching and collecting electronic music. There were many years of searching and references, his influences such as house, tech house, disco, progressive house among other aspects, mix in his productions and lifestyle. On the track, Geovanni wants to convey freedom and believes that music is something DIVINE put into the world by GOD, which is a spiritual art that involves feelings, memories, moments, among other symbols of our lives. Developing work at an ever-increasing pace, Geovanni wants to speak his truth, without conforming to stereotypes, but rather to what moves life: faith, music and art.

Of Turkish origins but born and raised just outside of Zurich, Alci’s entry into DJing came via Hip Hop and street culture, trying his hand at graffiti and breakdancing before discovering turntables. Igniting his passion for music, his taste has evolved over the years, shifting into the electronic world where he now places his sound between funky House grooves and minimalistic Techno.

At the age of 17 he was already on the Zurich circuit and today is called upon to play all around the world - tINI&Gang, Fuse London, Caprice Festival, Rex Club, Gesthouse, Resolute NY, Un_Mute and more. A self-professed vintage head, when it comes to his own productions he’s keen to strike the balance between analogue gear and new technology.

German producer and DJ Reboot (Frank Heinrich) has been a driving force in house and techno for over two decades, blending Latin, dub, jazz, funk and world influences into hypnotic, polyrhythmic grooves.
