it's been almost a year since I got my Maschine studio. My workflow normally consists  of playing maschine as a live instrument when I find i like certain combinations of patterns and sounds, I record it live hoping it sound as good as it does when I am jamming out, i've cut and modified very little the clip above, but it's really as raw as you hear it, patterns are pre-programed but it's mostly triggered live. Here's a little piece of something I've been working on for a while, it has evolved and changed. The rhythm started with a More afro Caribbean feel and it evolved into this, I hope you like it and appreciate it.

Hi my Name is Aldo Gibran, I am originally from Mexico but reside in the US, My taste in music ranges from downtempo, world, to techno and industrial, I've been mostly influenced by  electronic music since I was about 15-16 years old, soon after I met the local underground DJ scene whom introduced me to various genres and started attending all the parties my friends would throw, but I always stirred more to the deep end of the spectrum. I considered myself a percussionist and most of my music is percusion based, I experiment with different sounds to get a texture I find hypnotising and that i can get lost in. My producer "career" if you want to call it that, is very young. I'd like to use this medium to share my progress and hopefully attract alike minds.
