We have curated a blend of two truly unique styles entailing electronic sounds piloted by off-center basslines and various percussions as well unconventional rhythmic patterns. Born and raised in Abu Dhabi, MAMBOLO built his reputation on self-expression and connection, bringing people together through his striking beats and unique mixes. He focuses on house music, producing tracks that call to mind a wide variety of musical influences.

He has always been wild about music. He first got into electronic music and music production when he was only 11 because of MTV Music Generator on Playstation 1. Those were important days for him, and he looks back on them fondly. He then dove headfirst into 90s electronic music. Some of his favorites were Enigma, ATB, and Darude. Whatever music will pick people up and spin them around though, that is what he's after. He just wants to see people having an incredible time.

Some of his biggest influences BlackCoffee, Da Capo, and Themba. He mixes sounds that are somewhere between Afro/tribal, progressive house, Downtempo and he adds a little Middle Eastern flavor to his music, harking to his Arabic background. Telling stories and entertaining people, he is on a mission to spread happiness, love and peace through beautiful tunes, one track and one show at a time.

Slow Hearts at Funkhutt Radio

This mix is a recording of a set I played live at Indigenous Frequency, a outdoor festival put together by Gasmic Audio and Naarbeats Productions, at a beautiful setting near a dam on a farm just outside my hometown of Pietermaritzburg. 

It had been almost a year since any of us had flicked some proper hoof on the dancefloor. The sun was setting, the full moon was rising and everyones bottled up energy from being locked down was bouncing off eachother on the dance floor.

Fire extinguishers didn't quite cut it, we had get the fire department on standby for this one.

personagem criada pela goiana Letícia Liara (@lliara), Alamoa (@alamoa) surgiu do seu encontro com novos ares multiculturais dentro da música eletrônica, numa ampla pesquisa em constantes evoluções voltadas a cultura do Chillout e Downtempo. Com fusão entre fragmentos culturais de diferentes regiões e a música eletrônica, seu trabalho apresenta esses elementos distintos através de um novo prisma, convergindo variadas frentes artísticas em suas construções musicais.

Faz parte do núcleo GATOPARDO (@nucleo.gatopardo), que atua com distribuição de conteúdo musical e produção de eventos artísticos, e também é a fundadora do coletivo Locomotiva (@locomotiva.go) e atua também em um projeto que representa gêneros que combinam com atmosfera de chillout underground voltados para cultura do Psytrance, a Ziya (@upziya).

Com uma trajetória por festivais pela América Latina, tem trânsito por diversas festas e movimentos independentes, sempre atuante na cena do downtempo brasileiro unindo fazedores de som pelo país e divulgando o estilo através dos coletivos que participa, e hoje durante a quarentena, segue forte levando esse senso de construção pelas vias digitais , seja de seu canal no youtube, no discord, e em grupos pela internet.

Landegaard ist ein alter Weggefährte und DJ-Veteran mit einer musikalischen Geschichte von Psytrance über Techhouse zu Ethnic Downtempo und allem zwischendrin und darüber hinaus. Kennen gelernt haben wir ihn an einem kleinen superfeinen Festival an der Ostsee vor vielen Jahren. Nun freuen wir uns sehr, dass er uns in diesen Ausnahmezeiten ein Mixtape geschickt hat, welches uns direkt auf die Insel an den Strand schickt.
