Dear reader and listener,

I have the pleasure to present my debut studio album. I composed it during the first 6 months of 2020. It took me some time to come up with the concept of the album. It was very important for me to have a central narrative and to maintain cohesion, purpose and meaning between the tracks, rather than just collecting individual songs. I achieved that narrative with the composition through a rhythm and melodic motif that I explore and interpret in different ways between the tracks.

I worked on the composition patiently and methodically. After writing the scores I had the pleasure to record the entire album at Bruno Sanfilippo’s studio in June. His grand piano had a very intimate and brilliant sound and was just the sound I was looking for.
