My attempt to get a closer sound and tone like Jimmy Page on the Song Remains The Same Live Album, as always i used Guitar Rig 5 and my Vorson V-150, i made that Bank years ago using Guitar Rig 3, sounds pretty good for me, but this time i used IR Loader, a free plugin for Logic 9 to enhance the poor singal from my guitar pickups loading an IR, at the end of the effects chain i put a Recabinet 3 using the Vintage Cabs, Compare the sound by your self, changes a lot with using both plugins.

Just testing some Black Sabbath tone, taking the first album and some of the oldest live material as reference, im using a Epiphone 1984 Explorer with EMGs on it but it works the same with other pic ups as well, as a curiosity i used the Led Zeppeling The Song Remains the Same tone that i created years ago, but this time i used a Metal Zone as distortion to shape the sound better haha

Black Sabbath Guitar Tone [Test]

Just testing if I’m able to mix something like this, guitars and bass played by me, no fancy VST used on the prchestra yet, EZ drummer 2 for the drums, this was just a simple mix, still need to find a proper unique rig set for the bass and guitars and make a more detailed mix with more plugins and sounds.

On People [Demo]

This was just a test that we made one day, to see if this song worked with an orchestra on the background instead of the synths and the mellotron from the original mix, didn't came out that well the mix but we liked the orchestra version, because we are basic men.

Just trying to figure out what's happening on that part of the song, listened to the master tracks numerous times and i think is pretty decent in my opinion, the problem is the mix and that huge wall of sound, most tabs and covers on internet tried to organize the low notes as rhithym and high notes as lead, and some of those have a lot of not accurate or not existence harmonies, the truth is that the lead and the rhithym track have a little bit of both low and high notes, but they are mixed on a confuse way, if you listen to those tracks you'll notice that you can listen both rhitym and lead on your Left and right channels.
