Alek Sis found his inspiration while travelling. In 2023, he fell in love with La Réunion, a volcanic island made of huge mountains and unique nature.

While hiking throughout the place, Alek Sis decided to create his fist album made of recorded samples from birds singing, water flowing, trampling noise and many more mysterious sounds. During his creative process, Alek Sis tried to keep the number of electronic synths as low as possible (mostly for kick and bass) and focused his work on turning the recorded samples into melodies, ambiant sounds and percussions.

Les oiseaux du paradis (literally "The birds of paradise") is an immersif hypnotic techno and trance experience guided by birds.
