Aleks Deejay was started back in 1996 - composing simple tracks and learning the basics of dance music. Greatly inspired by different Italian artists and always influenced by my surroundings - Aleks Deejay is my outlet - and in many ways a good representation of the way I think.
The actual name Aleks Deejay is because of my middle name Aleksander. 2005 was the year that Aleks Deejay surfaces as he is now - during a high-school-retreat to Cyprus things happened that inspired me to "write" the song "Du Ligger Op Til" (Danish for "Your Hitting On Me Sexually With Great Physical Emphasis ;) ) - actually I really don't know the proper translation. But anyways the song came to be - and its the song that people remember the best. You'll be able to hear the song here on this page in the near future.
