Adam Beyer is back on Drumcode with an impressive array of tracks that will get the senses tingling and shows us what Drumcode is all about. These 4 tracks are deep and almost melancholic in their approach to techno, using effects to really help enforce an ambience only Beyer can achieve within his productions. The under lying throbbing of the drums drives this EP into the forefront of the heads down Drumcode sound and have been heard in many of Beyer’s phenomenal sets throughout the year.

Our Yellowhead leaders are at it again, unleashing another percussion-led beast, which in return gets paired with two most thought-provoking remixes, by the ever-prolific Wehbba and Danilo Vigorito. On the original mix of "Conquerors" we are quickly introduced to metallic chords that integrate with the rock-steady rhythm section, as tribalesque beats and a haunting vocal sample, reiterate throughout the whole arrangement. Wehbba slightly pulls the gears back and takes a dubbier approach, focusing on eerie effects and streamlined atmospherics, thus adding to the hypnotic vibe. For the closer we have Danilo Vigorito's interpretation, which effortlessly stomps away with commanding stabs constantly pushing forward, while the disjoined chords and mangled vocal snippets of the original intertwine with tasty nods to old school productions.

The YellowHeads are back on Reload Black, going at full throttle with their latest smash, aptly-titled "New Age". To spice things up even more, techno supremos Boris and Hollen take on remix duties and hand over two wicked renditions.

The Original sets off with a rumbling bassline, led by vocal snippets and sprinkled with a healthy assortment of classy chords, while its rocksteady rhythm section effortlessly paves the way for the constant building, thanks to the masterful arrangement and anthemic approach. Boris is up next, keeping the main theme intact but at the same time, gearing the track up with a mighty injection of drums and cavernous effects. Maintaining big room focus, Hollen delivers his own beefed-up interpretation, adding some of that playful feel-goodness, perfect for those full-on vicious arena moments.
