(Re)using the aesthetic ideas that contributed to the first album,
      – Rock Standards – this is a ‘reworkings’ album –
Undercover/Avantgarde – that takes songs from various artists’ 
      catalogues
                  and
  reimagines them; stretching, squashing, ambientizing, 
       deconstructing... Instruments used are the very same as on 
                                       Standards: a kal-
                        imba, unplugged electric guitar, voice, ambient 
sounds (sleeping pills box, Scrabble noises, bangs, prods, nods, 
    tweaks and plinks), BeBot, app. drums – 
                 as well as the employment of a few techniques that the 
     bands being emulated may have used, e.g. the ‘found sound’ 
          sample on ‘Bakade Yunf Herth.’ All titles have been 
anagramized in accordance with
                  the aleatoric nomenclature of the first record, 
with one title getting
                                        a homonymic rejig…
    Undercover/Avantgarde: an homage to (some of) the greats;
standards of beauty and inspiration, aleatoricized and aleortized.
            (p.s. I know Adem’d already done ‘To Cure a Weakling Child,’
    but it’s the only riff I’ve ever figured out on my Kalimba.)

Iv spent alot of time this year listening to electronic that grew out the early 80's.  Some are dancable, some are hopelessly bleak and some are just beautiful audio statues captured and rendered forever by the crudest of means. I hope at some stage you get as much misery and enjoyment from this as i do.
