To enable downloading audio files higher than 128 kbps
1) Access to your SoundCloud account with your browser
2) Copy all cookies used in the current SoundCloud tab to the clipboard with Copy Cookies https://chromewebstore.google.com/detail/copy-cookies/jcbpglbplpblnagieibnemmkiamekcdg or Cookie Quick Manager https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/cookie-quick-manager
3) On JDownloader click to Settings -> Account Manager -> Add
Search for soundcloud.com in the popup window
User: click in the field on the right, delete any trash (Ctrl+A Canc) and write your email address of your SoundCloud account
Cookies: click in the field on the right and paste from the clipboard (Ctrl+V)
4) Save

How to respect the default 255 character path limitation in Windows (file name + extension + full path lenght)
Add a rule to short file name lenght, before downloading
1) Click to Settings -> Packagizer -> Add

2) On the field below "Condition Name" write or copy-paste Limit file titles to max. 120 chars (+ file extension)
3) Check "File Name" and select "contains" and click in the field on the right, write or copy-paste

4) Check "Filename" and click in the field on the right, write or copy-paste

Remove spaces
5) Click to Save

The following tip doesn't work for me, files with names longer than 256 characters are saved but cannot be processed

All the files with truncated names were saved as mp3 even if some were wav, flac, mp4 or m4a files, i noticed this because they were disproportionately large for being mp3 and did not display the duration, i renamed these with a wav, flac, mp4 or m4a extension and it worked
