Improvisation on a semi-hollow body guitar with loose strings and loop pedal. Percussive piano played at the end of the looping.

While I Was Out

Rubber Band Cage

A Gibson 347 plugged and unplugged straight into a Black Russian fuzz and live looped with a pedal. All the noises are generated by the 1/4 inch jack contact and the vibrations of the guitar.

14 Inch Hesitation

Last but not least is the final no-input mixer improvisation. No overdubs. Everything was played using the four mixer channels. A wide variety of tonal colours and frenzy noises. No cuts, no filters in post production. Track edited with LP & HP eq, very subtle compression, with the add of a little reverb. The only subtle manipolations are about little volume and pan adjustments.

Knob Dance For 1 Electronic Device

By subtraction process the fifth track has 2 overdubs with the no-input mixer technique. In this case one recoding was made with a cabled mixer and the other with a dirty mixer (like in track 3).
The dusty mixer has a very strong rhythmic approach, the other mix works as drone and glitch generator. No cuts, no filters in post production. Track edited with LP & HP eq, very subtle compression, with the add of a little reverb. The only subtle manipolations are about little volume and pan adjustments.

Dust And Pitch For 2 Electronic Devices

By subtraction process the fourth track has 3 overdubs with the no-input mixer technique. This track is pretty caothic: each line has its own voice and rhythmic movements, there's no interplay, no dialogue: collisions. No cuts, no filters in post production. Track edited with LP & HP eq, very subtle compression, with the add of a little reverb. The only subtle manipolations are about little volume and pan adjustments.

Collision For 3 Electronic Devices

LooPortrait is the place for my repetitive musical improvisations. Here there's no premeditation. Things happen and that's enough. 
Improvisation #1 is a three simultaneous loops piece played with the TcElectronic Loop x4 and Flashback x4. No sync and nothing more than my hollow-body Gibson 347. 
This sketch of music is just an oneiric representation of notes floating in reverse, filling the space in a sort of ambient song. Hope you enjoy.

This is a funny song that came out during these qurantine days. I know there's nothing funny about the health situation and the coronavirus alert, this is supposed to be just a story.

Every single track is played, no MIDI programming except for the drums. What you hear is me singing, playing bass, guitar and synthesizers (Korg Volca Beats, Korg Volca Bass, Korg Volca Keys, Arturia Microbrute, Korg Microkorg, Moog Grandmother).
