This is the result of a Recording session I had with an anonymous band a little while back. Good example of what my recordings sound like at the moment.

Latest Recording Session

So a little while ago I bought a new cab and it sounds EPIC!! The Vintage 30's in this cab record so much better than the G12T-75's I had in my old Marshall Cab. SIGNAL CHAIN: Custom Tele with BKP Piledrivers, Blackstar HT-Dual, Blackstar Artisan 100, Blackstar Series One PRO Straight Cab, Rode NT-1A, Roland Quad Capture, Logic Pro 9. Bass was recorded using my Tele through a Mooer Pitch Shift and then into Guitar Rig 5. Drums are programmed through Addictive Drums 2. Can you guess the song??

For some reason I became randomly inspired to quickly write some ambient, indie-esque music. I think its because I have been listening to an artist called "Novo Amor" recently. Loving the chilled out sound.

Experimenting With Some Ambient Playing

So...... Long time no upload!

Basically this is just a lil demo of what my recordings are sounding like at the moment. Its also kind of an experiment as well, as this is the first time I've used an Impulse Response through Logic's Sound Designer to emulate a guitar cabinet. Works a treat!

Anyone who follows my band and have seen us play live in the last couple of months may recognise this track. Hopefully there will be a fully produced version of it soon enough. Gotta plan the year out first hahaha!

So I recorded this pretty much when the song came out but didn't have a bass so I never got round to finishing it. Probably close to a year on and here we have it haha. Enjoy!

BearTone Productions | Love Yourself (Cover)

So this is the result of a song writing project I have been doing with my guitar student. The aim is to build on his song writing ability by co-writing with him to come up with songs from lots of different genre's. This particular one is obviously inspired by modern metal.

Production wise I'm pretty damn happy with this one. Nice full low end. We probably could have been a bit more stringent on some of the performance, but the main aim of this was to write the song not fully produce it.
