Something a little different than I have posted before. This track is from a current campaign that I have been working on for the past month or two. Each boss/antagonist is going to have a unique track for during their confrontation, and this is the track I made for the duration of Kasani Matsui's encounter. Inspired by artists like Molchat Doma, Depeche Mode, and Soft Kill. This track was made in Reaper which I have VERY SLOWLY been learning all by myself with a few video tutorials from people who have worked with it much longer than myself. Most Midi FX are from Spitfire Audio and presets within Reaper itself.

Empty Hands by Mother Mother Cover with Uke

I've had this account since before I was in middle school I think, and one of the oldest files I have is a recording of myself singing "Nobody Loves You Like Me" by Jonathan Coulton. Since then, I've published lots of tracks of higher quality, but I've kept myself from deleting it as almost a benchmark of where I've come from. It was extremely amazing to publish something online and have people actually listen to it (for good or for bad), and since then, I've occasionally recorded, deleted, and improved my musical skills with the knowledge that if I do something well, I'll feel confident enough to post it online, even if it only gets listened to once or twice.

When I first came out as Transgender (FTM), my involvement with chorus made it really hard to be "consistent" with my name and gender. When I went to chorus, I sang a female part, and I didn't want to come out in fear that my teacher wouldn't accept me. I really value his support even today, and he has helped to shape me into the person I am. I am going into my seventh and final year of choir, as I will be graduating this year.

When I started T, I almost relegated myself to the fact I would have to give up my singing because of how often I've heard other guys say it limited their range and that they also couldn't sing afterwards. I wouldn't say my range is wider by any means; it is definitely more narrow and it is much harder to hit notes that used to be easy. Now, I would definitely say I love my voice and that I don't hate myself nearly as much as I did several years ago.

If I could go back in time and tell my middle school self that it would be okay, I would in a heartbeat, because I am the luckiest person on Earth to have accepting friends, an adorable girlfriend, amazing parents, and a great medical team helping me with my transition.

And to me, I'm so glad you made it. Nobody Loves You Like Me.

I've been teaching myself guitar for maybe just over a month now, and I've finally gotten down enough of the basics to feel confident recording it. I really like this song by Evelyn Evelyn, and may do other songs by them honestly.
