Geri DeJohn, a native Long Islander, has developed her vocal style through the years of performing with the Long Island Cabaret Theatre. It was at one of these Cabaret shows where she met guitarist/songwriter, Alex Calvo. The two started working together and began writing and recording demo songs from Alex’s home studio. Their first song “In The Night” had done exceptionally well on YouTube with over 80,000 views. The next few songs they released on YouTube had also done very well. In addition, Geri released 2 mini EP’s on iTunes which was well received by the Good Times Magazine. During this time, she formed The Geri DeJohn Band and has performed in local clubs all over Long Island and Manhattan: The Bitter End, Mulcahy’s, KJ Farrell’s, The Revolution and Fat Baby to name a few. While performing and writing, Geri recorded the song “When You Walked Out Of My Life” with producer David Andronico

Geri continues to write, record and perform in hopes of landing a deal with an independent and/or major label.
