Alexandros Kontaras aka Alex Code makes his debut on Switzerland's Limeroads Recordings this week for the labels 44th overall release. Alex hails from Greece and has been on the progressive scene for just about a year with releases on Sangria, Perfect Sessions and InsomniaFM. Alex's debut for Limeroads is entitled 'Bitstream' and it comes with a remix from Loco-Volver. 

Alex's 'Bitstream' original lays down a wicked foundation right out of the gate. A deep, warm groove that flows beautifully with lovely chord changes and sparkling electronic accents sets a wonderful atmosphere. The main breakdown is a very nice display of sound design with a charming ambience to complement it. It also provides a incredible transition back to Alex's warm groove full of fantastic harmonies which finishes the track off perfectly. The lone remix of 'Bitstream' comes from Limeroads headman Loco-Volver who has been relatively quiet so for in 2013. Lukas Gnaegi aka Loco-Volver is now making his 11th appearance on his own label and also has other great labels on his discography such as LuPS and OLD SQL. Loco-Volver's 'Bitstream' remix would have to be one of our all time favourite productions from him. An incredible melodic bass line roots the track and provides so much positive energy and dance floor groove. While the elements that surround the tracks framework have been meticulously processed with a beautiful sparkle that Loco-Volver has become so loved for. A real melodic gem from the Swiss producer and a another great release from Limeroads that is by the way currently sitting at no.40 in the Beatport Progressive House chart Don't miss it!

Alex K. aka Sound Travell3r (Alex Code) started to get involved with the electronic music scene at the age of 16 ..
From his early years to this world his was interested in music and at the early age of 9  he joined a philharmonic orchestra playing various musical instruments...

This was a big up to gain all this knowledge as he gave many concerts around Greece together his companions...

Experimenting and seeking new sounds became a way of life and finally at the age of 16 he bought his first cds with music of  yianni - jan michel jare -sasha - john digweed - nick warren  - and many others to name a few...

This was the way to start seeking how to work his knowledge on electronic music by perform as a dj always playing live using his favorite DAW Ableton Live and export projects  as a producer...

From the first time listened to this particular genre  since now he created his own unique style selecting tunes that are proggy deep and underground - atmospherical.His sets have been played to various stations around europe...

He started producing at the age of 25 an age that he knew what he was seeking into music.
Today he already made his first steps with  releases.
He is a  member of www.Westradio.gr team and very proud to be member of this station in a standard basis.

guests from around the world labels and artists…
