Álex del Amo was born the 16th of March in Girona. Since his very childhood he shows a natural interest about electronic music getting to discover
central european bands such as 'Front 242', Nitzer Ebb, Cassandra Complex, framed in what was known as EBM movement (Electronic Body Music).

In the earliest 90´s, Álex del Amo intensely lives Trance & Techno music´s widespread success on the dance floors which finally let those two 
styles reach the mainstream music.

Already from the beginning, House-music shapes as the music style where he finds himself more comfortable with. Always running away from convencionalisms
and commercial clichés but without losing sight of market impositions.

Álex del Amo shapes a versatile and unmistakable style that takes him to launch his first work in 2005 under the prestigious spanish record label 
'Blanco y Negro', (Sensitive Road-Samsung Chill Out).

In 2008 he achieves his first hit with 'The Awakening (May Rec)' reaching the three editions the highest in world tops and charts and receiving 
the best critics in most specialized progressive house forums.

During 2009 Álex del Amo and his friend and colleage 'Les Schmitz' (Best Ibiza resident Dj-Amnesia club) throw 'Scratch'n bite' for 'Fresco Recods´ label', 
it then is remixed by house superstar 'Robbie Rivera'. This theme is also worthy of the greatest praise by the international scene and afterwards reedited
by ToolRoom (New School leaders in nowadays´ Dance scene).

2009 is also the year he throws his first album, edited by his all life´s label, 'May Rec', where he reviews all dance trends & styles showing once more
his expertise in the musical production field.

During the summer of 2009, again with 'Les Schmitz', prestigious record label 'Funktion Recordings (Chicago)' publishes 'We are family', a new review of 
'Sister Sledge´s classical hit' which is now facing its 9th reedition and remixed as well by two superstars as 'Hattiras' y 'DJ PP'. A roaring success.

At the end of 2009 it is published 'Tasty' by 'Stereo Seven Plus', becoming stablished as one of the strongest and interesting proposals within  
world-wide Techno scene, reaching again the highest positions on charts and being remixed by artists of the stature of 'Andrea Bertolini' or 'Spartaque'.
