A composition that transforms over time from orchestral to J-pop to EDM. I hope you enjoy listening to this.

This was an interesting composition because it felt as though I was free to compose however I wanted; what I wanted to express was my style rather than someone else's. There was a lot of fun infused with this piece, especially since I've been learning a good amount about DAWs and EDM in general. This was the first time I've ever used sidechaining, and it's also the first composition on this platform that I composed in a DAW.

I've always imagined sparkling bright lights shining off a prism when composing this, so I named it Kaleidoscopes. This is less of a physical depiction of a kaleidoscope than it is alluding to the ways that a kaleidoscope can create so many fragments to create something beautiful. In a similar way, this composition is like a kaleidoscope of memories and emotions for me.

Hey everyone!

Been a while since I've done a weekly challenge but here it is! This is my piece for the "Lobby Music" challenge.

I took inspiration from games that have "lobby-like" areas such as Dungeon Defenders, Mini Healer, Rogue Legacy, as well as other games like Story of Seasons and My Time at Portia that don't necessarily have a "lobby" but do utilize a main menu. From there I applied the concepts to an album that I'm currently working on that was needing a menu/lobby theme.
