The next release on Black Seven Music comes from Argentinian artists MartinoResi & Donatto as they deliver three freshly-cooked club-geared dancefloor heaters - making up their ‘The Leader’ EP.

Buenos Aires natives MartinoResi & Donatto continue to grow in stature via releases on a slew of well-respected electronic imprints. We open our account for 2022 with the duo, making their label debut on Black Seven Music with three individually standout cuts.

Opening the release, the title track, ‘The Leader’, presents itself as a sturdy terrace roller. Potent drum work and roaring bass notes combine with crisp hat grooves and rippling percussion with pleasant effect. Beyond that, injections of melody come from synth stabs & tonal fills whilst vocal chops give the track a deeper character.

Next up, ‘Here You Are’ comes in hot with driving low-frequency energy. Subtly melodic from end to end, its bed of loose but weighty drums and sub-bass steer the track whilst crisp percs shuffle and rattle on top. Soft synths pulsate whilst a vocal hook continuously keeps you dialled in from start to finish.

The release closes on ‘Deep Inside’, another upbeat and undeniably danceable club number. Building around an addictively gripping bassline and understated harmonics, every single element brings colour and tone to the mix. A progressively building track with endless layers, its velvety persona makes it easy to dive in and get lost inside its hypnotic energy.
