Likened to both KT Tunstall and Beth Orton, Alex has been described as an ‘awesome songwriter with the voice of a slightly naughty angel’ and ‘the darling of BBC Introducing in Devon’.

Still in her teens, Alex released her second EP, ‘Critical Perfection’ in January 2015 and, with the help of her new band, can be seen regularly playing as many jam nights, charity events, festivals and acoustic slots as she can, performing her own original and haunting material,  as well as a few carefully chosen covers. Her live YouTube sessions (including a ‘sublime’ performance of Michael Jackson’s ‘Smooth Criminal’ for On’t Sofa) have gathered thousands of views.

Alex’s hard work and commitment to her music and songwriting has resulted in Alex being featured in Acoustic magazine and Q Magazine;  being chosen from hundreds of entrants to play at the Richer Unsigned/Q Magazine Music Industry Showcase at the iconic Pheasantry in London’s Kings Road; providing harmonies for Guy Jones and his US producers on 3 tracks for Guy’s 4 track EP ‘Long Way Home‘;  and,  being nominated for the South West Music Awards (Best Acoustic Act).
