Acronym first surfaced in late 2012 on his own imprint, Dimensional Exploration, putting out mind-bending EP DE 001. Since that time, ჰis music has been released on Abdulla Rashim’s label Northern Electronics as well as setting a regular cooperation with Semantica Records where he found a platform for his latest LP, Entagled In Vines, in 2016. 

With his contribution to Bassiani Podcast series that was recorded live at BASSIANI while RA in Residence’s opening night Acronym serves up one hour of deep, percussive techno loaded with the most energetic, fresh and mind-bending tunes of himself. Moving from a cinematic, shadowy introduction the live-set turns into diverse rhythmic section where Swedish talent shows us the virtue of his thrilling and trippy techno sound.

Italian label Spazio Disponibile continues its fine run of form with a new EP that features four collaborative tracks by the bosses Voices From The Lake (aka Donato Dozzy and Neel) versus Semantica boss Svreca. The EP is a result of their first studio session all together in Rome. All three have been perfecting cinematic ambient techno for years now and have the cerebral, atmospheric aesthetic down to a tee. Here they offer up proof across a series of hypnotic tracks that take you deep into your own mind. It’s alien and abstract yet wholly consuming and will zone you out in no time.

The sound echoed in the dusty chamber. A small crowd had gathered to observe him play in what was a beautifully orchestrated environment. The audio was crystal clear, it landed softly upon the ears of the delicate audience as they stared fiercely into the darkness. For he was not visible, at least not to the naked eye, the vamp was all that was important in this place, not his outward appearance, tattered clothes or distant gaze. The music was all that mattered. 

Arkajo makes up one half of the infamous Genius Of Time duo. His solo work sees him draw upon darker influences, more akin to the sound of murky back room club.

Marie Davidson is a Canadian singer, poet, and electronic music producer. Originating from Montreal, she is also one half of the minimal wave duo Essaie Pas, a duo she formed with her partner, Frenchman Pierre Guerineau. She sings in both English and French. Her third album, Adieux au Dancefloor was named by Pitchfork as one of "The 20 Best Electronic Albums of 2016".[3] The album is themed around Davidson's ambivalent feelings towards dance music and club culture. Describing her two earlier albums, Pitchfork wrote, "Her two previous solo releases (Perte D'Identité and Un Autre Voyage) mingled gothic ambient music, poetic repetitions, and analog synthpop to great success. Her work has never felt campy, but is darkly rendered, probing, and redolent of Lizzy Mercier Descloux.

Davidson was also part of the duo Les Momies de Palerme, along with Xarah Dion. Their LP Brûlez ce coeur was released on Constellation Records in 2010. She has collaborated with various other musicians including Matana Roberts (on her project Coin Coin) and David Kristian, and she was part of the orchestral project Land of Kush.
